Flowerguy360
Hey There, So I have been trying to create a glossy, metallic effect on a character. I have been successful in creating said effect every where on her body... ...except the face. I've actually managed to do it with both specular textures and with settings tweaks in the Materials Editor (not the default CK one, but Nexus one) on the body, hands, and back of the neck. I have jacked up the Smoothness AND Specular Multiplier to 500. I have used several specular files that work with the rest of the character's body. And it all works everywhere... ...except the bloody face. I have even added a custom alpha channel, blanketed the darn thing in a white color, and have it set to 50% opacity, JUST on the face, since someone said the face requires a white Alpha channel in the specular. Nothing. The best I seem to get is a change in the shade of the face, depending on which specular or Environmental Map Texture I am using. Since I can get everything else to work with it, I can only conclude that the game handles faces differently in some way. So that begs the question: HOW does the game handle faces differently? Please help. Thank you.
