HGEC files?

Quick question. I figured out how to manually install the file I needed. However, the HGEC files aren't working. I was wondering if anyone knew which files to copy to the Oblivion data folder (I wanted the normal Underwear version), and how (Do I keep all of the files in their folders? Or do I just get the Meshes and Textures I need? Or do I put each individual file by itself into the Data Folder?). I'm extremely sorry if it seems like I'm spamming. I'm not only new to this modding stuff, but I'm also kind of new to how forums work. I know I sound like a major noob, but if anyone knows which files to put into the Data Folder and how, then I will be very grateful. Thanks!

keep the directory structure intact and meshes go in meshes folder, textures in textures folder inside the main data folder, but tbh you should use EVE HGEC Omod version its a lot easier to install and will save you hassle, has multi verision choices from bust size to nude/ undies. Install with OBMM, Oblivion mod manager, this tool will make your modding life a lot simpler in the future.

Also you will need to turn on archive invalidation so the game knows to use the ew files fo HGEC you installed.

To turn archive invalidation on use OBMM and go to Ultilities>Archive Invalidation, then select Universal for the mode and update.

Thanks for the other link! :) But the OBMM won't work on my computer for some reason. Something about how I need to make my user an unlimited user, although it isn't a limited user at the time. It might be because it's Windows 7 instead of Windows Vista, but I don't know... But anyway, thanks for the other HGEC! I'll be using that one.

As you are running Windows 7, it's quite likely that Windows' User Account Control (UAC) is causing OBMM to not work, especially if you have installed Oblivion into the default 'Program Files' directory (or 'Program Files (x86)' if you're using a 64-bit OS). UAC conflicts with OBMM, as it doesn't recognize it as a legitimate program. Therefore, when you try to make changes with OBMM, it treats it as malware and stops it from working correctly (which OBMM interprets as not having administrator rights).

Luckily, there are ways to get around this. Check out this post by bben46 for a guide on what you can do ;)
