New mod idea

Firstly, sorry if it's in the wrong place XP

Umm, I'm not sure if there is a similar mod that does this yet, I've been looking for ages though and haven't found one yet.

Basically, you can further enchant enchanted items. It's rather lame you can only enchant a piece of armor or something once, while you can find armors from bandits and such that give multiple effects.

So, I was thinking of a mod where things can be constantly enchanted, except that the price for enchanting is triple the usual amount, as an attempt to balance out the incredible power you can wield.

Enchantments can be multiple, or selected more than once to increase the limit.

Sigil Stones however (since they're free), should be restricted for use only on non-enchanted items still.

Or a different kind of approach, where you can simply add as many soul gems as you want when first enchanting (or put a limit on it, like 4 or something), to enchant things with more powerful magic. That is, if a Grand Soul Gem can give a Light spell of 40 feet, two can increase it to 80, three to 120, and so on. Multiple enchantments can also be selected.

After enchanting though, items cannot be enchanted again. The price would be a little more than double the current value.

Sigil Stones would be allowed to stack up to half the amount of the Soul Gem stack (rounded down to the nearest number)

It's a bit scattered, sorry. I wanted something where you could make enchanted items a little more powerful, but try to balance it out somehow.

Anyone interested, ever wanted something like this, or know if there's something similar already out?

Tell me what you think!~

Actually, you can enchant items with multiple effects. You just need to balance them, so after you put on one (say, the first) there's still enough charge left for more (second, third, forth...).

This has been asked before. Its impossible, due to restrictions of the game. Systems such as this are hard-coded, and cannot be edited. You might be able to tweak them in the Construction Set, but the main idea is implausible.

Oblivion's enchantment system is very poor compared to Morrowind's. There is this mod, although I don't know if it's usable in game.

That only applies for weapons. Armor is one effect only, and you can't choose the magnitude except by using a different soul size.
