ShadowOfNV
Iv been working the past day to make my characters armor standalone, but iv ran into an issue. I was able to get everything to move over to a standalone armor but it seems its much darker. When it was a retexture the pauldrons seemed to shine more, the standalone doesnt have the shine and it seems the armor itself is more darker. Im looking at the meshes in nifscope and the meshes seem to match the regular Dawnguard mesh, aswell the textures are the same. Can anyone help me out? Like I said, when I make it just a texture replacer it has a shine, but as standalone its darker and doesnt shine much: Texture Replacer Standalonehttp://i.imgur.com/367GmYo.jpg
Perraine
Check the ***_m.dds files and make sure they are the same ... Also check the cubemap files, and make sure those are the same as well. Finally check the ***_n.dds files (the normal maps) and make sure that the Alpha Mask layer is the same on both. In the Nif File, scroll down a little in the bottom window, with the BSLightingShaderProperty highlighted, and make sure all the settings are the same, such as Emissive Color, Specular Strength, etc.

Perraine
Go ahead, I can't promise anything quickly though, as I'm currently doing some other stuff, but I'll have a look when I get a chance.

ShadowOfNV
Dont worry about checking the file Perraine, someone else figured out my mistake. Was using a wrong cubemap, but I still appreciate you trying to help me.
Perraine
Lol, I was in the middle of going through all the lines in each file one by one, when I decided to get a fresh coffee and have a quick browse on the Nexus, I thought it sounded like just a difference in the files.... Glad you got it fixed :D
