redman76
I know a lot of people get this. Whenever I alt tab out of the game and reopen it, it becomes blurry and set to a lower resolution. For me, whenever I pause, it screen tears too. Can anyone fix this? This is a similar problem with Skyrim too, where you alt tab and reopen it's just a black screen and stuff. CainNiner
Same problem. =/ I had the same problem in skyrim too but there i was able to fix it by alt tabbing again and again, but In Fallout 4 it doesn't work... And if i just set it to windowed mode the game just starts lagging like hell...
HanFyren
While I can't help you on the coding side:In my experience, it generally doesn't happen if I pause with esc before I alt tab.
bill8872
From my experience this is more of a hardware issue. An example, my monitor, which is also my TV is a 1080 dpi, but for some reason most games change it to 780, or 760, I don't recall which off hand, and the computer does not always adjust with the difference.I have a few games I just can not alt tab with. It might also be some coding in the game it self. I had one game I was forced to alt tab in before quitting, or I would get a black screen, as the video card would not readjust after quitting. When that game did an update, as others were have the same issue, after the Windows Anniversary update, this problem went away. Driver updates also helped with Windows 10 update.
