Modding Ideas

Soooo after reading all the spoilers for Skyrim i saw a bunch of cool ideas thrown in but the main things i would have liked to see changed.. well.. weren't lol

any sort of combat modification like deadly reflex system in Oblivion that spiced up combat is missing from Skyrim. Its the same 'swing' 'swing' 'block' combat as vanilla Oblivion only with a smidgen more customization on the how-to part.

The magic system seems to be the same were any mage can get spells of any kind (Oblivion had an utterly fantastic mod that made you choose a specialization like pyromancer or druid or illusionist then get extaordinary spells that apply to that specialization and of cource some mediocre ones of most other)

instead of making food and sleep mean something they just burned them out as what seems to be a fatigue and health healer (respectively) like last game.

So a few ideas I came up with that i am thinking of modding into the game, other input would be oh so welcome:

making the combat system more entertaining, when an enemy attacks you can 'parry' his attack by, say if your being attacked and it looks like its going to hit you on your left side, by moving to your right. Then it would hit you for 30-80% less and possibly nock the enemy off balance and of cource I'de probably work the skill so the bonus to parry would be dependent on the skill of the weapon you are using. I might make parry an attack at your middle backwards and moving towards the enemy give you a dmg buff as you press the attack, then of cource moving away would give you a parry or dmg reduction buff as you fall back.

Then for magic I am thinking of just remaking the Oblivion mod to add in specializations. Of cource I'd be making a few of my own spells along with it so each spec has an in depth and entertaining tree ;D

The only other thing I wanted to see was a start game stats adjuster were there would be a menu were you go threw and decide what your past life was like and in the mean time, as you choose how you want your charector to have been, you get your current stats and reputation modified. It seems like it could be easy and pretty entertaining at the very least :)
