frakle
I thought the Game is based on Shouts, or can you actually play the Game without ever Shouting. no. they're basically the equivalent of lesser powers from Oblivion. some races have them, sometimes you can get them from quests, but you never had to use them, although some of them were pretty useful. it remains to be seen however if they actually play a major role in the MQ where you have to use em. Corakus
The shouts are powerful but most of them have really long cool-downs, so you won't be using them too much anyways. As for the dragons:Spoiler Alert. You do have to start the main quest in order to trigger their return, but it's very early in the main quest, like the Oblivion Gates in Oblivion. Jakeschulz
yeah regarding dragons Todd said they wont appear for like the first hour, i think you have to sort of trigger them in a quest, like witness their arrival i assume or something
hector530
I thought the Game is based on Shouts, or can you actually play the Game without ever Shouting. You can play without using magic, you can play with using melee. TES is abou playing how you want.
erikface
Do you have a source for the lack of stats difference (or alternatively that the only differences are skills + racial power)? The source is that there are no stats like INT, STR, etc. And that was confirmed a long time ago. The individual races' skill advantage hasn't been released yet. As for racial abilities, here: http://theelderscrollsskyrim.com/racial-abilities-and-perk-trees/
SickFak
1. There will be a racial difference in health, magicka and stamina at the start, as well as there will be one for skills...
Ankleon
1. There will be a racial difference in health, magicka and stamina at the start, as well as there will be one for skills... Weird, other forum members think differently. Unless someone can provide a source, this question remains unanswered for me. :P
SickFak
It's said in several previews and interviews. There are far too many to actually find the right one to quote (and it's not like they are 100% truth proof anyway), but you'll find out soon enough... in three weeks at the latest. There is no good reason for them not to be IMO, even if not taking into account what've been said in interviews and previews.
Lowk
I haven't read that in a single preview or heard it in a single interview; what I have heard is that there will be skill differences between races at start; attributes are completely up in the air.
