wolverinetree Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I honestly don't know what a "unique download" is... Could you explain?
RitualBlack Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I believe a unique download is a single download from 1 IP address (or user, I am not 100% sure how it tracks it). This means if I was to download a mod you made 5 times it would say: 5 Downloads, 1 Unique Download. Hope this answers your question  .

KainSpice Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Well, for instances where someone had to reinstall or if the download was corrupt, someone would have to re-download it. There's a multitude of reasons why someone would want to re-download a mod.
wetblanket Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I suspect updates and multiple files are also not included in the 'unique' count.
moirai Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I must admit that I'm still rather confused by this system. I've just uploaded a mod a short while ago, and currently it has 2 'unique' downloads and 1 'total' download. How is that even possible...? Edit: Here's a screenshot, just in case anybody thinks I'm fibbing. Screenshot
