Locational music mod?

Has anyone made a mod that allows you to choose which music plays in which area little more specifically than just four different categories? I've often been forced not to put new music in my folders because I thought 'Gee, this would be a great piece to stride around a castle to, but...it just would sound out of place in a shop'. If not, can someone seriously consider making one, if it's possible? (which is unlikely, I would guess)

The music settings are largly hard coded as far as the folders go. Adding new folders or changing names doesn't yield any usable results. Unfortunately the scripting options for playing music inside certain interiors is very limited, and is actually a step back from Morrowind. The only solution is to send Bethsoft e-mail every day requesting that they include better support for music in their next game. What they have really kinda sucks from an environment standpoint. Music is one of those things which can set the whole feel of an area and often it just fails. There is so much that could be done to set the tone durring quests and events, but it isn't done, and it can't be done in any shape or form. Turing music off and just having winamp running in the background is one option, but then you lose the notification of combat.

Morrowind had 2 folders for music, oblivion has 4. I know its possible (in MW) to add areas with scripted music, but for basic users (which is most of us) oblivion provides a more dynamic solution.
