mod requests/ideas

I have had several ideas and am going to place them here as a mod request/ideas for a better survival difficulty. Most of what I have thought up has to deal with survival over hall.

1. settlement building

a. there are several mods that add working sinks, showers, water fountains, and so on. and at least one that I know of that adds water pipes. my idea is to make it so these sinks, showers and water fountains do not work until water pipes are hooked up, like how many powered items will not work until they are powered.

b. mechanical degradation. generators, water pumps/purifiers, turrets and any thing mechanical that is placed down wears down. this would also require making a way to assign a settler to repair them.

c. ALL turrets should need power and a terminal in order to work.

d. settlers should be assigned to gather water before the settlement starts to get water.

e. while in build mode only, hunger and sleep should not accumulate as well as some sort of night vision to work after it gets dark. (nothing more annoying than having to exit build mode to sleep or eat/drink when you are in the "building zone")

f. A way to store all or take all for individual tabs that will work for that tab only. like the store all junk button. ( though they should not store things that are favorite and equipped.)

 

2. out side of settlement building

a. (A little thing I like to use.) When you ask your companion to take something from a container they should take every thing all at once.

b. One thing that always bothers me while clearing a ruin is what do the squatters eat and drink. supper muttents, raiders and any other biological intelligent NPC should have some sort of food 2 or 3 pieces.(most likely some form of roasted mole rate or rad roach) and a few things of water on them (dirty water or other wise).
