the graphics look top notch, there are a bunch of great concepts to work with and the game is fully moddable, what more could a gamer ask for ;D

I'm probably still going to seek out a better combat/magic overhaul mod, maybe a more realistic fatigue/eat/sleep one, any more loot mods, a mod to remove the scaling from creatures and modifies their current level/gear to make sense and be static, hopefully that mod also makes ebony/deadric gear as good/rare/hard to get as is in Morrowind instead of raining from the skys like in Oblivion. I'd also dabble in how you level so people don't scale from chump->god instead its more like new recruit->veteran, I'd also want to get a few NPC fallowers, oh and hopefully be able to buy and place traps.

Other than that though I think Skyrim should be pretty fantastic :)

Un-named NPCs don't bother me really. It always amused/annoyed me how in Morrowind, you knew everyone's name! Even the smugglers and bandits in the caves. It's not as if the big honkin' Nord with the battleax is going to walk up, shake your hand, and say "Hell, I'm Hothmur the Stinky, and I'll be killing you today!"

as for the spellmaker, I never got into it, but I can understand why people miss it I guess.

As said before... no-name NPCs arent really a problem...

There are always travellers and people you dont know and wont know. Then there are guards from previous games... they werent named. All of them were "guard", except the captains and important NPCs.

The Imperial city could have used a ton of no-names.

My philosophy.., if there are beds available they should be taken.

There ought to be enough chairs for every person in the town.

In the game what I wish they would have, and they might very well already have it... NPC guild members that go out on NPC missions, like go kill rats at X, or go kill vampires at Y, go scout out Z.

X missions = easy missions that the player wouldnt need to do, but if the player were to follow the NPC they would come to encounter an NPC questgiver that the player hasnt met before.

Missions at Y are missions at locations that the player has already cleared. These missions are 50-50 chance for a group of NPCs survival. The purpose of these NPC missions is to inform the player that a location they have previously been to has been repopulated and then the player has an opportunity to approach the dungeon in a different way then they previously have. These dungeons would be melee oriented dungeons.

Missions at Z are locations that the player hasnt been yet and the NPC has NO chance of survival. The purpose here is for scouts to approach and upon being attacked they flee. Later when they return these no-name NPC scout and savants will offer to place locations on the map that should be just beyond your level (otherwise they would have died when they were attacked) they would also tell you what type of enemies to expect, these locations are POI that have rare weapons or equipment that would be of interest to a fighter.

These NPCs would be for all guilds and they would simply be side things that you could join in on if you wanted to. Beyond that they dont really do anything but bring a new level of immersion to the game

I like this idea. It's very doable to.

So....we know there are different species of fish...but can we actually use a pole to fish for them? I've been trying to find a confirmation or denial regarding fishing but have only unsurfaced speculation. I think it would add to the immersion to be able to fish for food. Then again, I am a book stacker so it may not appeal to the majority...

As far as I know, all fishing you do in Skyrim is with your hands. Though I prefer the old fashioned "hit em with a bow and arrow" type of fishing. :P

I thought I was the only one. Did you ever set a table ( like set out plates with food and the silverware set up properly) in Morrowind?

YES, on one save i killed every person in that house right in front of the stilt strider in balmora, then i set up all these plates and silverwear and stuff, then i put all my deadric weapons and armor on the counter to look like it was for sale, haha good times

I always set up the house I build(from one of the Three houses in the game) plus I went and found the extra fluffy pillow on that shipwreck for my bed lol
