Valox4182
So first post here, just joined like a min ago... I searched around a little and didn't find a exact answer. Whats the ratio between game time and real time? Like if i'm playing Skyrim for a hour straight, how long has passed in game; a hour also, maybe a day?Idk why I thought of this.... I just did.... natelovesyou
I think it's going to be a lot less like Oblivion's timescale and more like Fallout 3's or Fallout: New Vegas'.
Razthemystic
True. Bethesda seems to be taking a lot from Fallout 3 an NV
natelovesyou
Well, not sure if it's "a lot"...lockpicking, unnamed generic npcs, timescaling (possibly), what else? I can't think this late haha.
Razthemystic
It is late, but I just hear Todd bring up Fallout during Skyrim interviews.....oh Perks to right?
natelovesyou
Perks were in Oblivion already, but, the way they're being delivered is more like Fallout 3 true, you get to pick one every level and they let you customize your character pretty well. ShadowscaleB1980
I preferred to set game-time to mirror that of real-time, though unfortunately that seemed to mess with some of the quests (especially the ones from the mages guild) I always enjoyed the twilight hours and the hours of sunset/sunrise - they always went by too quickly with the default time value of 30 considering the fact that skyrim is a heavily modified version of the gambryo engine, I suspect it will be possible to modify the passage of time in-game.
