Seviche
Hi as you can see in the title I made a youtube channel about mod missions and me playing through them and i would like to know if there is any way i can improve or if you like it or not detailed help would be very appreciative thank you very much for your time. It's not bad, you have some funny lines, and it's good that you're working out your frame rate issues. I have a few suggestions: Record your play through of the mod, then make a video that actually reviews the mod. Release both at the some time. For the actual review of the mod, know what you're going to say about the mod beforehand (notes taken while you play are good), and maybe practice a few times before recording. Try to keep the swearing and slang to a minimum. Speak clearly and confidently. Feel free to discuss the mod candidly and do not be afraid to pan the mod if you think it bad. Be precise as to why you don't like it. Don't be mean. Don't get personal even if the modsmith calls you a douchebag after you review his (or her) mod and you say how terrible it is. People have very thin skin in these insane days. Counter this by having thick skin. In other words, the secret to being a good critic is; be as professional as possible. You're providing a service to others. You're telling us what is bad, what is good, and why you have those opinions about the mod. Do be sure to mention if you don't like a mod because of your personal playstyle preferences (such as; too much jumping or too many puzzles in my shooter), mention that bias, and then account for it. Don't waffle. I think that's about it. If you're looking to only do in-game gameplay commentary, you might want to watch this youtube channel to see how one group does it. I wouldn't suggest you adopt their style, but you can learn much from watching them. Just my ideas. Good luck!
