IslandGirl
So I'm sure this isn't the first post about this but believe me, I've tried to find a solution but no luck. I can't seem to get my settlement lights to work at all, no matter how close I put them to my power source and connected wire. This is a fresh game and install of mods since being away for a few months so I'm using the most current version of everything available. Since Homemaker hasn't been updated yet and many have posted that it's not working well with other mods right now, I've been using SSEX instead along with OCD and others. I tried using the vanilla lights and the SSEX lights, but nothing is working. I tried to reload a save, fast travel, etc. I'm stumped. Hopefully it's something I missed that someone out there can figure out. My load order is here: Fallout4.esm=1SettlementKeywords.esm=1ArmorKeywords.esm=1Snap'n Build.esm=1Armorsmith Extended.esp=1Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp=1AWKCRPatch-UFO4P.esp=1AlternateSettlements.esp=1OCDecorator.esp=1OCDispenser.esp=1DD_AIO_I_Hate_You_All.esp=1SKE_OCD_Patch.esp=1SSEX.esp=1CBBE.esp=1THBrows.esp=1AzarPonytailHairstyles.esp=1DeadBodyCollision.esp=1dD-Enhanced Blood Basic.esp=1TrueStormsFO4.esp=1TrueStormsFO4-LITE-Audio.esp=1TrueStormsFO4-Performance-Fog.esp=1TrueStormsFO4-NoConstantRads.esp=1WET.esp=1WET Clearer.esp=1FogOut.esp=1FogOut-Interiors.esp=1N7 VaultSuit F-Gloves.esp=1Screen Flicker Killer.esp=1Screen Flicker Killer_emit.esp=1Fr4nssonsLightTweaks.esp=1Scrap Everything.esp=1Toxic Raider Armour.esp=1Immortal Cats 2.esp=1Immortal Cats - Cat Meat to Cat Food.esp=1AkaWaterWorld.esp=1chem redux.esp=1dinoshelf.esp=1LongerPowerLines3x.esp=1Power Conduits and Pylons - Increased Radius x3.esp=1Friffy_Fixed Curtains.esp=1Friffy_Fixed Rugs.esp=1Femshepping_Mini Plants.esp=1AES_Renovated Furniture.esp=1BathroomClutter.esp=1 Thank you in advance. :)
KaelVirum
I don't know if this is related to your issue or not but in my experience I've had lights that were working just stop casting light even though their bulbs are still lit. I'm not using some of the mods you are, I am using homemaker at the moment, and I've noticed some of the lights, they could also be from snap'n build as I'm running that too, cast light but don't actually light up themselves. To get around my first issue, I just scrap the light that's not casting light and replace it. To get around my second issue I just don't use those lights. Again, I don't know if these things are related but I figured I'd share. Maybe it will help you.
Sharlikran
Some lights use passive power meaning that a pylon or conduit has to be close to them. For example I may place 8 lights on a wall. They don't light up. I place a generator close to the middle of all 8 lights. They still don't light up. I then place a large pylon close the them and attach a wire to the pylon and bam they light up. No wires are needed with some lights. I also see you mentioned that you say, "no matter how close I put them to my power source and connected wire" so I don't know if the light needs a wire or it will be powered with just a pylon or conduit next to it but I believe there are both types of lights. There are many mods that change the range of the pylons for what some people call wireless power. Vanilla Extensions provides some increased range for them, Conduits and Pylons Various Wireless Power Ranges, Power Conduits and Pylons Overhaul, and Power Conduits and Pylons.
