PC to Console Mod theft

I have nothing against consoles user myself(as I am a proud owner of bloodborne machine) but as of now, I am both sad and disappointed.

You and me both Dragovian. I've been oggling mods ever since KotOR on the original Xbox, and since then between Oblivion, Skyrim, FO3, and FNV I could hardly bear scrolling through all the game enriching content on the Nexus. Luckily I didn't miss out on the glory that was Diablo 2 with its low requirements but other than that I've been on consoles.

 

I've always been a person of modest means, a nice gaming rig was not an affordable exspense for a hobby, so I got rather invested in accessible and affordable consoles. When Todd Howard announced mod plans for Xbox I was beyond enthused.

Looking back I realize I was naive to think this would herald the change I hoped for.

you have this CONSOLE of all things, I mean, good god, you're a right mess already
and here you learn that all of them MASTER RACE PEOPLE are sitting, just ROLLING in low quality nude mods

but more seriously, this was a main selling point, like, it was part of the release, I think "everyone" was a bit excited at the possibilities (I know I was - but then I'm an improve-the-general-situation-of-gaming-ophile), and now you mod authors are the ones who'll actually have to deliver lmao

so now you have these petulant children trying to learn to hitch a wagon to a horse that doesn't want to be hitched to a wagon, that previously was ridden by bethesda but now has to deal with a million masters and every time it's a new face

and here they are, being however they are, because I'm not going to lie the people that can't handle PC's do in fact go to consoles for *similar* things to PC when it comes to gaming to an extent (we're all aware of the nuance of similar and different in regards to PC/console) so you get those kinds of people coming here regardless, and for a lot of edgy teens this is the first time they've cared about a computer or something, because consoles do in fact try to lock down the market and pretend they're the only thing around, and that's because they suck, but they're cheap
