Echoing Sounds in Ayleid Ruins and Forts

I just had this idea for a mod today, which is sounds that you hear in Ayleid Ruins and forts could echo to add more realism. Such as combat sounds echoing. I don't know how easy or hard it would be to make a mod like that, but it would be interesting. What does everyone else think of this?

It might take a lot of scripting, but it could be possible with an edited sound of the original that adds echoes and to swap the sounds when in an interior cell with the name specified. For forts, IIRC, there is a script command to check for a part of a name, and you could just put "Fort". For Ayleid ruins, it may be harder since you have to get the name of every ruin, and then for mod added ones you wouldn't have the echoes.

 

The only downside I could see is that it may lag the game a bit for older computer sound cards (sound causes lag sometimes when the sound card can't handle it), and that the file size would be large.
