Invisible mesh

I'm trying to do something very simple. I go into Blender, split an object, and delete part of it and I export the .nif, but it is invisible in Oblivion.

In another .nif, I deleted an object and added another in, but I get the same result in Oblivion.

 

I've looked everywhere, but I can't find a solution.

Help please?

Read the last entry first- basically make sure that when you add it in, you are pasting the branch to the root (very top of the list on the left in nifskope). See if that fixes it.
