Mod help, trying to convert a hair to work in FO4

I am almost certain the issue is with the NIF, as the hair renders in the Creation Kit with the textures from the BGSM, but in game it is invisible. The hair in the nif is a BSTriShape instead of a BSSubIndexTriShape, and whenever i convert it to a BSTriShape, and open it in the CK, it is invisible as well. All other base hairs in FO4 appear to be SubIndex. Any suggestions?
