tried everything i know but my custom mesh just causes a CTD

[sOLVED] it was bad texture exporting that kept causing ctd

 

 

 

ive been at this for 3 weeks(not including modeling time) trying to make a proton sword and been able to get the FO4edit side of things working(using a different mesh) and i've checked over everything in the bgsm files but it's still fighting me. If someone can check it over that would be awesome. also if anyone knows how i could add ignore armor to the base model id appreciate it.

I'll take a look and see if I can figure out the problem.

 

Edit:

Alright so I looked at your mesh and... I have no idea why it didn't work. I tried to open it in the geck causing the geck to crash. I moved on to trying to import it into 3ds max and I got an array error. so I exported it to an obj out of nifskope and reimported it into 3ds max and exported the mesh as a nif. after that I Re Added the collision data and tested it in the geck. it loaded this time. The sword should now be a working model. you'll have to re add the texture paths and material files to the nif on your own though. Hope this helps.

Are you using fallout 4 edit or the fallout 4 creation kit?

It's definitely working in my game. Do you want me to send you the sword with an example esp?

I can't tell if the material files are working as I don't have them. But the model is 100% working.
