Sharlikran
@achronreanimate are you using NMM? If so be sure to click the check for updates and let it download the latest version if for any reason you don't have that. I've seen too many posts where people have 1.5.157 and can't get mods to work. Also you do have 1.5.157 or higher, right? For the textures issue. While troubleshooting something I had reset my INI files to the Bethesda defaults. Once I loaded a save game none of the items I had built in my settlement appeared nor could I build anything. Mods I had installed that altered vanilla meshes were also preventing me from building certain things. The change that had made the difference was with sResourceDataDirsFinal in my Fallout4.ini. I know there are a lot of people saying it's not needed but after testing with 1.5.205 which is the current release it seems like it's needed. However, I also saw video from December of 2015 by Gopher and it doesn't suggest that.I did more testing and it looks like both of these options work. I'm going to say you probably need to do one or the other. I don't know which works better or why.Option one:Edit your Fallout4.ini in Documents\my games\Fallout4[Archive]sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\Option two:Create a Fallout4Custom.ini in Documents\my games\Fallout4[Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\

Sharlikran
@Locomanusa, I understand that you didn't have luck with 1.5 however, tools may not have been updated when you tried. For now if you have NMM 61.23, latest FO4Edit, and the latest LOOT you should have no issues. Yo do have to log into Bethesda.net at least once though for 1.5 to work as bben46 mentioned. There is no reason to use 1.4 at this time. Because of the release of the Fallout 4 CK most mods are being made with 1.5.157. Most people don't know this but there are currently at least 11 versions of Fallout 4.esm. Twelve if you count the ESM for 1.5.210. Also two of them you wouldn't have unless you were part of the closed CK Beta. I keep copies of all of them because of working on FO4Edit. There are probably even one or two more out there. For settlement mods, you need 1.5.157 or higher because of all the newly added menus. If you don't there will be settlement menu issues. This is a visual example you can see in game. However, there are going to be other changes in Fallout.esm that will cause unexpected things to happen with your game because of missing information in the ESM, changes to the records, and a host of other reasons. It's not customary for Bethesda to just change the primary ESM file but it's what they are doing.
