Werne
Do you have some kind of a software that can display fps like fraps? if you do, start the game and look at the number. If it's 60 or higher it's a problem (at least it was for me). My comp ran the game at 170 fps and every time a new cell was loading my game crashed because the fps would fall to 30. Try using the Stutter Remover, it limits the fps to 30 (you need FOSE to use it). Edited October 27, 2011 by Werne

Werne
Try lowering your settings, it should stop the hits on your fps. EDIT: Scratch that, you have a quad core processor, you need to do this:Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3 Find the line: bUseThreadedAI=0 change it to: bUseThreadedAI=1 Add another line after it and insert: iNumHWThreads=2 This will limit the game to 2 cores because the game crashes and freezes with quad core processors Edited October 27, 2011 by Werne

Werne
Now that you have eliminated all other problems, only one is left, mod conflict. Can you post your load order?
