I suspect the rumours about a Skryim 'remastering' and Skyrim mods being made available for console will see this issue expand critically. I'd suggest that modders should even go as far as pulling their skyrim mods if/when Beth announces they will open them up for consoles (at least until they introduce a workable protection system...because at the heart of all this it's Beth.net that is the problem).
