BetaNium
Hello, I am new at the forum. Does anybody know if it is possible to render two different cameras on one screen? Or even better, on multiple screens? I ask this because I have found a good working ( yes I have tested it myself with my brother) LOCAL co-op mod for Oblivion, but its only flaw is that it uses custom camera mode, which is similiar to baldur's gate's camera. It would be a lot more playable if it used a split screen type camera, but could it be possible to make this kind of camera solution in Oblivion? WarRatsG
Not really. The game engine has the camera always follow the player. The Local Co-Op mod was genius to even simulate having 2 players in the first place, although there is not much else that can be done with the camera. There was a (failed) attempt at an online version of Oblivion. I know that it did work, but for reasons I don't know of, it failed. I'm not sure, but I think it can still be played. I think it was called "Oblivion Online" or something like that.
BetaNium
What a pity :/ And yes I know about Oblivion Online and Oblivion Reborn. They have such problems like players get out of sync sometimes and there is no item syncing or item sharing for players ( this can be somewhat achieved by using Active Inventory Spell mod) and the biggest problem is that the games NPCs are not synced. Because of these problems I wanted to know if split screen type thing was possible, as that would not be a problem because we live in the same household. Thanks for your reply.
