MidbossVyers
I found a mod that adds outfits from Tentacle and Witches. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=40797 While the outfits are faithful to the original hentai, for my own personal character, I'd prefer a black version of Futaba's outfit (all other things constant). Could someone make such a retexture by making all the white areas on the outfit black?
JDFan
Actually that is a pretty easy thing to do - they have the white parts as seperate textures so just a matter of opening the dds file and doing an invert modifier to change the white to black -- Example Nifskope Pic : http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc189/JDFanning_bucket/outfit1-1.jpg Is that what you wanted it to look like ? And do you know how to change the Nif Path if I send you just the redone textures or do you need the Nifs changed to use the textures uploaded also ? MidbossVyers
Whoa, that was quick. Now, is this a change or does this make a separate item? I'd prefer a separate item (same stats and enchantments as the original, though) placed in a chest somewhere convenient.
JDFan
So far all that is done is changing the texture to invert the colors -- Making new Nifs is easy by just opening the existing ones and changing the texture path and saving - adding them into the game takes a bit more --- I do not have the original mod installed so am not sure where they added them or the stats - so would have to open the esp on the CS to find out but it is fairly easy to make new items and add them to the game -- where did you want them placed and do you want them to be respawning or just the single set. -- Would you mind them being added to the original .esp (so you'd need to replace the original esp with the new one) or do you need a seperate esp made for the new outfit ? (thing is if it is added to the existing esp if there are updates to the mod you would need to readd them to the updated esp again but if there will not be any updates coming then adding them to the existing esp saves a mod slot. - (so would need to know which way you prefer) -- also there are 2 NIFS currently named Nif1 and Nif2 and I'm not sure what the difference is or which it was you wanted ( so do you know which one of the 2 it is you wanted or both - and what is the difference between them?) EDIT :: Just noticed in the readme of the mod : Change Log========1.10.25Added Black Futaba Texture, Optional file So looks like the mod has already been updated to include a black variant of the item so you may want to download the optional file he has posted today !! JDFan
Oh, thanks for the information. No problem -- If you still want to add it to the .esp as a new item instead of a replacer - Let me know (( his mod requires another mod be installed so to edit it I would need to get the High Heel mod as well since it is set as a master) -- But after reading his Readme - he also asks that he be notified before making any changes to the mod so would need to get permissions from him as well before making changes to his mod (since this is what he requests be done !) but if you want it done just send him a note for permission and as long as he is OK with the modifications I can help with it. (Or perhaps he would be willing to add it as a new item directly to his mod instead of having it as a replacer of the original version if you ask him. - which would probably be the best way to go. MidbossVyers
I've posted a comment on his profile page. If you've already made the separate item, you could PM it to him first to see what he thinks of it.
