What the lot of you are failing to take into consideration is the fact that when you add a PA Frame into the mix (which only FO4 does), you now have an extra layer of metal between your character and the armor itself.

 

What this means is that you now have to make a model for the frame that fits over the character mesh. Then you have to make a model that fits over the frame.

 

The end result of this is something with exaggerated curves if you make it curvy, or very few curves at all. Which is how we have PA in this game that is gender neutral and resembles a tank, and the one female variant mod we have looks like this instead of like this (only more exaggerated).

 

The only way around that is to first, make the frame longer and leaner, and second, make it cover a bit less so the armor that goes over the top of it can do its job. The Mechanist conversion is only for proof of concept. The arms are fully covered by the frame, but it has both an inner and outer sleeve that makes it look as if it is uncovered.

 

When I start working on this again (I've had other things to do and this seems to have had mixed reviews), I plan to include some holographic variants of other existing PA's using the frame as the "projector" for said armors. Just because it is female exclusive doesn't mean it shouldn't be interesting (though it shouldn't be difficult to make male versions once that's done, too).

 

But honestly, I have a lot on my plate as it is, so it could be a little while.
