My PC with the settings maxed and a 360 controller hooked up to a 26" LCD monitor with 5:1 surround sound speakers. Gonna turn all the lights out in the house to where it is pitch black and since I live in Michigan I am going to turn the heat off and let the house get really cold for ambiance. Gonna sit there playing the game like this for at least 2-3 days only pausing to sleep, eat, restroom, and shower. When the real world demands me back on Monday I will stumble my pale ass into the light squinting and cowering like a brethren from under Hackdirt. Edited by NAPALM13092

DONT FORGET PICTURES, GUYS :teehee:

I'm still working with preparations on my little Skyrim-machine  Almost finished the inside yesterday with a new 6970, a fancontroller, some noisekilling material, fixing and hiding cables, and moving over a bunch of storage-HDD's to a NAS instead. Still some tweaks and addons to be made, especially for cooling those damn GPU's  Will also turn up CPU frequencies to 4+ Ghz now that I'm not running it 24/7 anymore.

Specifications:

CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.8Ghz (Noctua NH-U12P)

Motherboard: Gigabyte EX58-UD5

RAM: 6GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600Mhz

Graphics card: XFX HD6990 & HD6970 @ Trifire

Storage: Intel 510 120GB SSD (Windows), Intel X25-M 160GB SSD (Games) & Seagate 7200rpm 1TB (Random crap)

Soundcard: Xonar Essence STX

PSU: Corsair HX 1050W

Case: Fractal Design R2

Monitors: 3x Dell 2209WA Ultrasharp 22"

If anyone else here owns an R2/R3 you might wonder where the hell the HDD-rack has gone. I had to tear it out to fit the HD6990  Improved airflow a LOT anyway, so it was well worth it! Mounted the SSD's under the DVD instad, and the HDD got striped under the "box" :P I'm testing the position, but will most likely build a proper mounting there for it later on as it turned out to work excellently.

Eyefinity sweetspot! Will be awesome!

OMFG! How much did that cost? Like $6000, lol. I envy you...

Now if only there was some way to get rid of the borders of the screens. I think they make some curving screens for purposes like that.

I have no idea of what the total value of this is by now, but it's not like I bought everything at the same time :P CPU (+cooling), motherboard and RAM for example is almost 3 years old now (Still highend though), one of the SSD's over 2 years, and a bunch other minor stuff as well. So I've had over a year of time to spend money on eyefinity-related stuff only (Monitors and GFX), which is quite a lot of time if you ask me.

The borders of the screens arent that bad actually. You only focus on the middle-screen when you play anyway, and let the side-monitors widen the perspective of you view ;) It's kind of a thing you have to try out yourself to fully understand.

@Mr. Bravo

Omg!! that's outstanding! You can get down on some serious porn with all that!!.. And a laptop!?

Haha I'm jp Great set up though!

Havent seen any porn made for eyefinity-resolutions

Laptop btw is an HP Touchsmart TM2 (Touch/pen-sensitive display) if anyone wondered. Will be a very important addition on the side there in order to keep some sort of communication with the outside world after 11.11.11 :P But also great for photoshop/mudbox when the modding starts!

Does that carpet hurt?

Pshh, best carpet ever! :D There's an even bigger and thicker version in my livingroom.
