Fallout 4: The Director

Hey everyone. It's been a long time since I've posted something on here but I felt Fallout 4 was really missing this. Spoilers follow. (If you haven't beaten the game by now, I feel bad for you)

 

If I had the time to gain the modding ability to do it I would spearhead this myself but I don't at the moment. I felt after the Institute quest line was over that it felt boring and unfinished. As the director of the Institute I felt that i should be able to make decisions, change the course of the institute, nominate new people to join the board, or expand the institute either for the good of the wasteland or to take it over by force. I imagine a world where I call the board into a meeting and discuss diplomatic missions to talk to the major settlements about protecting them with synths, offering restitution for damages done in the past, or organizing a hostile takeover of diamond city. I could send teams to the surface to create new institute basses or construct them myself. If anyone has played the Mothership Zeta crew mod you'll know what I'm talking about. I know this would be an extensive endeavor but I'd be willing to help as much as I could and in anyway possible. The institute has so much potential In my mind but in typical fashion, there's not much to do after you beat the game.

 

The name I thought of is "Fallout 4: The Director". Yes yes I know it would be a huge mod but I've seen the incredible talent of modern out there in Bethesda games over the years and I know it could be done. Like I said, I have modded in the pas but it's been a long time and I never had the time to finish my creations but I would be willing to help in anyway I can.
