Issue with Automatron, cannot add device to ADA

I found the device, talked to ADA about installing it. Built the Robot Bench, told her ready to install it. When selecting her in the bench menu, the only option I have to modify is legs, there's nothing else to choose. Tried reloading the save, still the only thing I can do is modify her legs. I've played the DLC a couple times already and this is the first time I've had this issue. Any advice?

Found a solution that works from another forum, I blasted ADA into unconsciousness, when she woke up a second later, I could modify her as normal.

Blasting ADA is just mean. Instead try this. Do a manual NEW save. Then, without quitting to main menu, go to load game and load that save. Works every time. I have had this same issue plus also happen when going after the boss. She won't respond when asked to by pass a security door. Also works with a lot of other similar situation pertaining to NPC's not responding correctly. It's a general glitch of the game. You should be more kind to the robots. One day we're going to be ruled by them. And they have more memory storage than we do. ;}
