How can I make a new Vault-Boy type lamp

Hello, I've made a modification mod of the T-49 Storyteller armor mod.

To be clear, I did not make the T49, nor am I in communication with DogtoothCG Unoctium.

I just mainly modified it so the "Berry Mentats" detect life effect is a separate, optional, mod for the helmet, so people can enjoy the White Death paint job without the pink glow; which they can't do in the original mod.

 

What I want to do is alter the Vault-Boy headlamp so instead of the boy, it show's EDNA, an eyebot companion of the Storyteller. I just can't figure out how.

 

The OMOD for the T45 headlamp points to PA_T45_Headlamp_VaultBoy.nif and nothing else besides the LNAM.

 

The ADDN PAT45HeadlampVaultBoy points to the file PA_t45_Headlamp_VaultBoyFX.nif. This also helpfully points to the key LIGH record.

 

Finally, the LIGH record PAT45HeadlampLightPAVaultBoy points to ProjectionHeadlamp_Powerarmor_pipBoy_d.dds which is the actual image I want to alter. That LIGH record is used by the ADDN records for each armors vaultboy headlamp. But nothing uses that ADDN. Creation kit tells me five things use the LIGH, but nothing uses the ADDN. So how does the OMOD point to correct ADDN? How does the game know which light to use with the vaulboy headlamp?

 

I found a few headlamp mods on nexus which have different vaultboy style lamps. But those are replacers. I don't want to replace the VaultBoy lamp, I want to make a new one.
