Mass Effect 3 install problems for A Lot Of Textures (a lot) for ME3

Admittedly the install was a bit rushed but what ive done so far is:

 

install meexplorer

built tree using tfexplorer

downloaded mod

scanned using tfxplorer

install valid using meexplorer

applied patch for dlc content bc an error was showing when starting game

 

using the assets the mod provided, i expected to see the " Launch ME3. You should see the message "A Lot Of Textures (ALOT) by CreeperLava" at the top right of the main menu, if you installed BackgroundReplacer.metpf."

which i didnt see. i checked edi's back for the differences provided in mods screenshots and looks the same. anything i need to do?

I'm not sure. Check with CreeperLava on this one as even I've had some issues with black textures before.
