cdypoore Posted June 9, 2016 Share Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) Has anyone on here ever thought about making a mod that adds a quest line based on the Harry Potter series? There are already mods that add spells from Harry Potter and that turn Winterhold into Hogwarts. I even saw one that adds the Deathly Hallows. Playing through a campaign based on the series would be really cool and since magic already exists in The Elder Scrolls universe this campaign would still be lore friendly. The names of the characters and creatures could be changed to avoid any possible copyright issues. It wouldn't be possible to age the characters any, so the story wouldn't be able to span 7 years but Skyrim's open world would be perfect for Harry Potter, especially for The Deathly Hallows. The Wizarding War shouldn't be too difficult to recreate (I think, I'm not positive) since Skyrim did have a Civil War story in it already.If I knew how to code and mod, I would do it but that's just not one of my skills. However, if someone would be on board with making the mod I could write the quest line's dialog and objectives out. I'd imagine there would be 12 quests: searching for the philosopher's stone, finding the chamber of secrets and killing the basilisk, helping to clear an escaped prisoner's name, competing in the Triwizard Tournament and seeing Voldemort return, teaching other students how to fight/fighting Umbridge, the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, finding an elder scroll (instead of the pensieve) that shows Voldemort's past, the first Battle of Hogwarts, the hunt for the horcruxes, the hunt for the deathly hallows and then the final Battle of Hogwarts.
