IlkeFO
Well hello people of the Fallout 3 Nexus, this is my first post and sadly a "Please help" one. Sigh. Basically, my problem is this. http://i41.tinypic.com/v79oh5.jpg This happens when either my character or my companion (picture above) equip any sunglasses (vanilla and modded). Doesn't happen to other NPCs, and the glasses on the stand (Sunglasses Collection mod) are intact. Sometimes the shape gets fully restored whilst changing locations and looking at the character from a certain angle, but that is only temporary. In a previous install, the Sunglasses Collection mod ran quite well, so that mod isn't bugged. I saw the issue for the first time with this mod, so I deleted it and didn't use sunglasses for a while. I downloaded the SC mod afterwards, only to realize the issue now concerned every sunglasses ever, vanilla or modded. I also downloaded after the Darker Sunglasses fiasco (I think) some animation mods to allow facial expressions (the idle modifier in the Groovatron page). I use Type V as the body replacer. I tried to deactivate, uninstall and reinstall both sunglasses mods, the animation tweaks and even Type V, yet the problem remains. So now I'm asking for your help here in the Mod Troubleshooting section, as I believe this problem is caused by a mod in the first place. Please help. EDIT: Also happens with biker glasses. All eyewear seem to have this issue. Edited October 27, 2011 by IlkeFO
satanslilhelper
OK, I could be wrong here, but this may have something to do with your graphics settings. IIRC, it's something about having two partially transparent textures overlapping each other (in this case the glasses and the fringe of the hair). Try making sure you have Anti-Aliasing and Transparency Multisampling on. Depending on your rig, this may cause a drop in FPS, though. At that point another option would be to simply use a different hairstyle. Hope this helps!
IlkeFO
It's the hairstyle, changed it and now there are no more issues. Transparency MS was already on when this issue happened. Thank you for your time and your help.
