WezEllison
I apologise in advance for the misleading title, but would you of clicked it if it was the real problem? I've noticed that females who wear any type of leather armour have no hands, I noticed it when using Vanilla bodies.. I then tried Type3 bodies for the females, to see if that would fix it, but it hasn't and I'm completly stuck for what to do - I did a test aswell, Leather Armour:ON = No hands/ Leather Armour:OFF Hands appear. Any advice would be appreciated, although it doesn't make the game unplayable, it's definetly noticeable.
etherealblade
The type 3 modes usually have a hand fixer or a separate link for prototype smaller hands? Are you currently using this mod?http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5355It may help. Also, This mod has a leather armor fixer in the optional files set for type 3. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34825 I can't think of a mod that removes the hands...I remember when i installed that awesome ZOMG COL T49 power armor wrong my hands disappeared. No one likes to redownload, but even I, in my download crazy spree over look stuff sometimes. ;) Hope this helps. Heffy
Well, yes, I would have clicked, actually… But then, again, not everyone is into that kind of fetish…No, don’t worry, I’m just kidding. :) What I’d suggest first is checking you don’t have some mod dealing with leather armors that would be doing this. Another possibility is that your archive invalidation file has (for some reason) a line preventing the hands for this type of armor from loading. The path for the meshes is …\Meshes\Armor\LeatherArmor\F\glovel.NIF and …\Meshes\Armor\LeatherArmor\F\glover.NIF. PS: Whoops, sorry I was too slow... :) Edited October 28, 2011 by Heffy
WezEllison
I appreciate the help, I've been through most of those steps other than the prototype smaller hands (not sure if it works with new vegas). To be truly honest with you I'm just going to forget about it, It's not that often you come across the females who happen to be wearing leather.(so far anyways) I've given you both Kudos for trying to help.
