No Commonwealth attacks in Far Harbor

Right, so that's probably the most annoying and least helpful topic title I've ever written.

 

Anyway, to the matter at hand. I'm getting pretty sick and tired of getting attacks on my Commonwealth Settlements while I'm in Far Harbor. The whole "having to fast travel twice just to help my retarded settlers use a gun" thing just isn't appealing you know?

So I was hoping there was some way of disabling Commonwealth Settlement attacks while you're in Far Harbor (and Far Harbor attacks while you're in the Commonwealth). I'm not even sure this is actually possible, but if it is it's so far above my head it's laughable (I'm over here still struggling with stuff like mesh mashups and removing ugly decals without breaking crap...). So if anyone knows a way of doing this that would be awesome, cause right now my "solution" is simply to ignore the attacks and hope my settlers don't hate me too much.

 

PS: I know there is a mod out there that disables settlement attacks, but I'd still like to get the attacks for the area I'm actually in at the time.

i just ignore them. I'm on survival anyway and if i stopped what i was doing every damn time a settlement got hit, i'd never get anything done.

 

My settlements should learn some damn self sufficiency

 

However i do agree with you, i'd rather not feel as neglectful.

I don't even play on survival mode, I just find it really friggin annoying. Come on guys, I'm nowhere near you lot, go bother Preston or something!

 

But seriously, I found it annoying enough just when they'd pop up while doing some quest in a big interior cell somewhere, but having to deal with settlement raids that are essentially half a world away is downright ridiculous.

EDIT: In retrospect, I see now that that's not precisely what you were asking for. That will keep Nuka-World and Far Harbor Minuteman quests from happening, which helped me with what I considered a far worse problem - having the game try to send me to Far Harbor when I am in Nuka World... you NEVER get there on time.

Better Settlement Defense, I use. It just makes your settlements able to defend themselves without you. I've usually got better things to do than babysit settlements :)
