shroudsoftruin
once again, the amulet of kings contained SEPTIM blood, so therefore is dynasty specific, i need to stress that this would be A COMPLETELY NEW IMPERIAL LINE

Michlo
im not really a lore-nazi either, but i do have a year of european history under my belt, i guess well all have to wait and see What the hell? Why do people feel the need to throw nazi everywhere? Someone being familiar with the lore of a subject does in NO WAY relate to being a nazi. Kindly spare a thought next time you so easily throw around such a powerful word that affected a great many people. Thank you.
AurianaValoria1
As of now, the stewards of the Empire are the Medes...Titus Mede, a Colovian warlord, took the Imperial City by force and established a new dynasty. How long his family will hold it, I don't know. (Haven't read Infernal City or Lord of Souls, but that's what I gleaned from the UESP.) As far as the Dovahkiin being Emperor is concerned, I have an alternate theory: you won't be Emperor at all. I think there is a point to all of these stories where the Septims and other Dragonborn (including, possibly, the Nerevarine) become heroes who save the world - it's what they're meant to be. The Dragonborn are the protectors of the people, who actively seek out enemies and destroy them. They are better suited to be adventurers - the people who go out and do what the Imperial Legion and mercenary guilds cannot - than being emperors. That's just my opinion, though. I could be completely wrong. :)
