Hello. I'm a noob looking for some help. I was curious if anyone could tell me what kind of program you guys and ladies are using to make some of the scenes I've been seeing on the forums here. I was hoping to learn how to make characters or scenic pictures like what I see posted here. Any help would be appreciated. If it helps my computer specs are simple, a Dell STudio 2010 model with Windows 7 and simple basic programs. That means yes. I don't know anything at all right now and am looking to learn.

Thanks for the help,

The Morgawr

Well, you could try Photoshop for image editing.

The alternative is GIMP. While not as powerful as Photoshop, it IS completely free.

Seeing as you want to learn, here are a few tutorials:

GIMP:

Photoshop:

Hope that helps and good luck with the learning :)

Thanks for the reply. I do want to learn as much as possible with all of this. I was hoping to be as good as the rest of you some day. T here are some files in my RPG that I have only in my memory images of and would love to be able to do this stuff with some of those memories. Also I was hoping to simply learn this stuff more knowledge like this is always usefull. Thanks again for the help and the quicker reply. Can I call on you for future problems, cause I suspect there may be many.

erm. exactly what file(s) am I supposed to download. I'm on a alternate laptop, not using my main desktop computer at the moment. I am just being cautious at the moment. I don't want to make any mistakes right now. Please point out exactly what file(s) I need in order to start this learning process. Thank you again.
