Seeking PERMISSIONS for content use in upcoming mod from...,

I wish to add armors to a mod. I am changing no loot lists. I am hereby requesting permissions for use of the creations done by:

 

goc_sun, x-files, jerros, ulath

 

Also if there is lore behind "eboron armor" and "noble armor " I would like to learn it. Otherwise, I'll make something up.

 

I have emailed two, and found the other two to be inactive for a long time. I have heard no word thus far.

 

Full credits will be given upon completion.

You should probably explain then what you will be doing with them in your mod. It's unlikely that any of them will see this post (given how they've been inactive) so you may want to try searching for them somewhere else, or just not using their content. You may also want to look at any documentation they may have with their mods. Generally, it isn't a problem if you're giving credit and aren't doing the same things they're doing. However if you're just looking to combine them in a store mod or something, you should really get specific permission to do so.

I have received word from a friend of one of the modders - they said the rule of thumb with him was to give credit.

 

What I am doing is adding a scripted forge that a player can use to create individual pieces of totally custom

armors.
