FanMattai
im fairly new to the CS,at least formally, and i was just wondering, how to remove havoc from an ingame item? for example, i want to "hang" swords above a mantle, isnt there a way to make a couple swords static in the CS?i thought it may be the "persistent reference" box, when you double click an item, but alas (id appreciate being told what that does as well, heh). thank you very much for your time. Vagrant0
isnt there a way to make a couple swords static in the CS?Extract the meshes you want to use from the BSAs (search for it if you don't know how) and make a new static which points to those meshes. Statics aren't affected by gravity, but still have the physical properties of the item. The alternative would be to make a copy of the .nif and remove havok information from that .nif, but you'd still have to define it as a static in order for it to be placed and not picked up. Iapetus
Y'AI NG'NGAHYOGH-SOTHOTHH'EE-L'GEBF'AI THRODOGUAAAH Decorator's Assistant. It's a mod found here that you can use to place items however you want. You can freeze them in the air, and no force, no matter how powerful, is going to move them. Unless you decide to pick it up.Get the OBSE version, it's way better.
