Marksman Weapons.

After much searching, high and low, for the one, single, -only- Mod I can think of for Oblivion that I simply can't keep playing without, I realized that I was doomed.

 

I missed my darts, and no one seems to have modded for them!

 

The darts as marksman weapons were, in my mind, one of Morrowind's shining achievements. Besides the fact that they could do loads of damage in a minimum of time and could be enchanted for total awsomeness and you could buy them by the hundred.....

 

 

BESIDES all that, they really rounded out the weapons inventory, balancing out the swords and daggers and axes and hammers. They were small, light, throwable, and great for those of us who favor a minimum of effort from the longest possible distance.

 

Also, I could kill lots of NPCs without being seen.

 

Bows are nice. They have their perks. You know, they look cool. And you get to take your time with aiming.

 

But could someone please get me my darts? *cries, sniffs, -begs-*

That's because they really can't be done in Oblivion due to the more limited weapon types and most of it being hard coded. There are however some mods which have attempted it. I think the throwing axes/stars one came the closest, but that's about as good as you'll ever get.
