Is 8 GB of VRAM Enough for 60+ 4k Texture Mods?

Should I have any trouble running exclusively 4k textures with an overclocked GTX 1080?

I will be playing at 2560x1440, with 60+ texture mods (mostly containing 4k textures), totaling around 16 GB of disk space.

The GTX 1080 has 8 GB of VRAM. I am also going to be running the game on an SSD and have 16 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz, if that matters.

Edit: Just checked my textures folder, it's actually at 18.3 GB

Unless you want framerates above 60 or so, you should be relatively OK. I run at a steady 60 at 1920x1080 with 3 gigs VRAM, 12 gigs of DDR3 and a relatively crappy 3.6 Ghz processor (all in a laptop, so my left hand gets nice and f*#@in' toasty), with a couple (two or three) big 4k graphics mods, though I have no idea what the total space is.

Of course, my eyes aren't good enough to tell the difference between 2k and 4k >.> so what the f*#@ do I know.

I'm going to have the game locked at 60 fps, although my monitor has a higher refresh rate.

Do you have any idea what your VRAM usage is? I'm running many more texture mods and I'm using a higher resolution, but it should at least be helpful as a reference

Don't think the vram matters that much if you use Enboost.

I have 60+ fps running fallout 4 on 1440p using 185 texture mods. Using 4k and 2k textures.

Also using shadowboost and Enboost ofc.

Using a GTX 980 Ti Sli with 6gb vram.

30.3 GB texture folder if that even matters.
