As for me, I take 15-60 minutes, If my character doesn't appeal to me physically, I cant bring myself to play them through very seriously, ill end up giving up and starting over again again untill i get one just right. I made a Khajiit in Oblivion recently and just couldn't play as him because the hair was bugging the heck out of me. EDIT: I think Todd said the kit will be released whenever Skyrim is.
