Nebrule
Here's my suggestions... Films: Conan The Barbarian - ofcourse Pathfinder - it sucks, i know The Beastmaster - why not Games: Rune: Viking warlord - If you haven't played this game you need to, you'll probably notice a few things skyrim has borrowed. TESIV Oblivion: - If only to remember your preferred key layout. Music: Not sure on this one but in Skyrim there are Nords which is Nordic which is Norwegian which is Black Metal which is Burzum Edited November 1, 2011 by Nebrule
hejpadig
Listen to guy's Skyrim inspired collection. Watch all of the images we've seen so far of Skyrim, and try to notice new things you didn't spot before. The movie Beowulf isn't great, but if you want to make a heroic Nord, that's a good start. Rush through your favorite faction in Oblivion to see the improvement in Skyrim.

TypicalRandom
 Also Beowulf is a great animated flick, it surprised me TBH. The seventh seal is a great film also, Max von sydow is in it he plays one of the greybeards in skyrim. Rydan
Hm, the Pursuit of Vikings perhaps? ;D Or . And of course anything by Harry Gregson-Williams. Listen to guy's Skyrim inspired collection. Epic. At first I didn't think for a second it was fan-made.
