chocolambot Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 A murder investigation mod, which means if you kill someone, you can still be caught if you were seen by NPC's immediately prior to the murder and those NPC's manage to convince the guard it was you all along! HazardHighlanders2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 but what if that person you killed was a vampire or Necromancer or something? when the guard came to arrest you, you'd have to prove to him that the person you killed deserved their death. if there was a repuation system for each town the guard would be more or less inclined to belive you based on your rep and actions in the past. like if you helped rescue people that were from the town or defended the town from a dragon, then the guards will believe you were simply helping the town by ridding it of unsavory individuals. but if you hadn't helped the town if you were a stranger then you'd probably be arrested or at best need to prove that you were doing for the good of the townspeople. (i.e. Lalette and her husband in one quest) Also, say if you found a note on them that told them to maybe kill someone or steal something super important, that would also help your case.
