Oblivion Wont Start New Game

uninstall Shiverng Ilses and try again...*sigh*, jk... did it only occur when you installed SI? or was it a bit sketchy after some of the other mods, also, uncheck all the mods and try that..maybe some of them arnt Compatable with SI..

I tried running oblivion with only certain mods at a time. They all work, even shivering isles, except for the deadly reflexs ones. So i just wont use them for the mean time. Aslo would u kno y there are yellow and black caution signs in the midas mod in the place of important things. i thing they mite b missing meshes but i dont kno, because they are all there in the folder.

Damstachizz: Yes, a texture mod would quite possibly cause the LOD textures to get messed up. What texture related mods do you have installed?

 

Funlovincriminal0: Yes, that exclamation mark means there's a missing mesh... Try installing Oblivion Mod Manager, and running Archive Invalidation (In the utilities menu). If that doesn't work, then you might have installed the mod wrong, so try reinstalling it carefully.

 

As for the other problem, chances are deadly reflex is conflicting with another mod you have installed... you could try running OBMM's conflict detector, but I don't know how much help that'll be, so you might just have to experiment with different combinations of mods.

Ok, i've got midas magic working all good. I just had the mesh, sond and texture folders in the wrong place.

Still nothing with deadly reflexes, it wuld b good if u had any ideas but it doesnt matter, i can go with out.
