Grimmjow0006
Wait why would they hard code it separately? Was Oblivion put on the news for the millions of sex mods it has? If it wasn't then I don't think skyrim will be put on for a mod that lets you kill kids. They had no reason to code it separately.
Brianide
Hardcoding a countermeasure against this would be a waste of time on Bethesda's part, and they're probably well aware of that. It's a silly thing to speculate. As for the social commentary ITT, I'd say Bethesda's pretty safe, considering the fact that this site's other offerings have not drawn any significant negative publicity. If some guy dons a Nordic helmet and starts laying into children with a broadsword, though, there may be some finger-pointing.
ahotbanana
I would imagine they would do pretty much exactly the same thing as what they did in FO3, so it will be modifiable to make them killable. Also, if I recall correctly, the children in FO3 never attacked you, they just ran away. I'd imagine that would also be the case here.
PirateDragon
I'd like to mod the game to make every child in the game super aggressive and hostile toward the player...while still leaving them immortal. It just ups the challenge of the game...
Illuna
Bah not being able to kill children..... sooo annoying. Kids should be killable just like the rest of pretty much evrything imo. I really hope they wont made nothing crazy to prevent us from making mod to kill kids  Its not that id like to do it, but if kids happen to be in wrong place in wrong time and i just happen to shoot giant fireball completely random at wall not even targeting them and it would accidently fly lil bit to close to them..... they should burn to bones... PS: Ashes to ashes.... dust to dust... :whistling:
Korodic
Hard code? No this should be optional. Kids can die in books, movies, and real life. Why not video games? If a person goes out and pulls a columbine, then there was something messed up in the head of that individual to begin with.
marharth
Its immoral to kill fake kids, but its perfectly fine to kill fake adults that have already built up a life. f*** LOGIC
chocolambot
Now I understand how taboo it is for game companies to make games where children die. It smacks them with the dreaded AO rating of death, and nobody wants that. That being said, the children in skyrim are invincible. I'm not sure about you, but I feel like it's going to ruin my game experience if a dragon blows up a village and suddenly it's just one big orphanage of superhuman babies. So my question is, do you think that children will have a sort of essential npc flag like important plot characters in oblivion, or do you think it will be a seperate system? I'm not some child hating sadist waiting for the first casey anthony mod, but I really value my immersion in these games. I strongly advise against this, in some countries hosting this sort of thing is illegal. God help us all if you actually put it on a popular mod site, I want my quest mods and not some site to be taken down because of teh immerzion!
