Fatalmasterpiece
Please stop posting threads stating "X" is confirmed or in the game because you saw it in a spoiler which couldn't be posted here anyways. Posting a spoiler image/video is the same as creating a thread about it and describing it. I want to be surprised next weekend. Thanks.
xaliqen
Also, I don't believe anything is confirmed until it's either officially confirmed by Bethesda or in a review by a major publication. Even then, a reviewer can get things wrong. I guess what I'm saying for the 'confirmation' topics is: I'll believe it when I see it, and you should too. Don't believe something just because someone posts a few pictures, hasn't everyone heard of Photoshop?
Valamyr
Its pretty easy to figure out whats fake and what isnt. Today's big news is certainly not a fake. And personally, I dont think talking about a feature and posting video about it is the same at all... but it should probably go in Spoilers, sure. Edit: The policy is "The spoilers section is for spoilers. You may discuss the content, but cannot make reference to any illegal images or video which might show it." So talking about it isnt the same as posting images. Edited November 2, 2011 by Valamyr
Fatalmasterpiece
Right, talk about it all you want in the spoiler section, I don't want to see a title in the general forum like "Little green space men confirmed" because someone saw it in an illegal video leak. Also, as a Photoshop using professional, it's very easy to spot a fake.
xaliqen
Also, as a Photoshop using professional, it's very easy to spot a fake. I'm not going to conduct digital forensics on supposedly leaked images from a game that releases in a week. I know all kinds of things are leaking from the review copies and elsewhere. As for sorting what's true from what's not, I'll leave that to those who can't wait a few days. I think we can agree on that.
Fatalmasterpiece
I edit people in and out of photos on a daily basis. It's not a matter of digital forensics, it's a matter of having the ability to look at a photo and immediately tell if it's been photoshoped and how. My work involves making that harder to do on my own digital edits. For example, on the New Vegas Nexus the Ranger's gun hows some of the original background around the trigger. It's a poor photoshoping and bothers me everytime I see it...
daventry
There is a Skyrim Spoiler Section of the Forum, why is it so Empty and yet everyone is in the General area of Skyrim.
Vagrant0
There is a Skyrim Spoiler Section of the Forum, why is it so Empty and yet everyone is in the General area of Skyrim. :confused:Because the only ones who have anything to spoil at this point in time are those who are looking at leaked content. Those who are smart enough to see the pinned topic are smart enough to keep leaked information to themselves.
