Cant choose created birthsign

Hello

 

I've created a cheaty birthsign and now i can't choose it at the gametutorial. It stands in the list of birthsigns, but only the name, not the description or the picture. And when i choose it and press the ok-botton nothing happens. Any ideas what i have done wrong? .. I copied a standard birthsign, renamed it, removed the spells, created a new spell and added it to the birthsign. Also I have added an new dialog-option to the emperor for my sign.

When creating a new birthsign, sometimes a birthsign will not show up in game, or will not be selectable in the birthsign selection screen in game. The workaround for this is to create several copies of the birthsign and then enter the game to see which one shows up.

 

For example you might create 3 (3 seems to be the usual lucky number here) copies of the same class each called:

 

EditorID / Name

TWSag1 / Sagittarius1

TWSag2 / Sagittarius2

TWSag3 / Sagittarius3

 

Then when the game displays a birthsign, ie Saggittarius3, go back into the editor and delete TWSag1 and TWSag2, then rename TWSag3 to Saggittarius. This may require several tries or more than three copies.

 

But I did try like twenty times with no results...

Thanks very much for this info. Hm, birthsigncreation seems to be a little bit strange then, but ok, i'll try it.

For me too it doesn't helped. Have done only a few tries but i give it up now and edit some of the standard signs, this worked without problems (the last time i've done it, will get big frustration if it doesn't work this time^^).
