Do we wake up from sleep because we are tired of what we were dreaming about?

Maybe it's because of my annoying neighbor? She is a self obsessed lawn nut who yet has a property covered in dead trees and wines to me all the time, some days I wonder should I invest in an electric fence?

What does happiness feel like, and can it be recognized before it's gone?

When did people begin to recognize stuff?

I think I can answer Pagafyr's question, I think we never learnt that trait.

Is it lost and gone forever?

Is Forever just the length for one cell to die or for the universe to end?

[this post will take a while to write, so I hope it doesn't fall too far behind. sorry if it does.]

Is gone a realization or an act?

Is the chance lost only because we know it,

Or is its being a fact?

Does knowing our failures make us a poet,

Or is it just another mistake we can't take back?

Does empathy come when someone can show it,

Or is there no such thing as empathy,

Because we see ourselves in each track.

What are facts? Aren't they just biased theories?

Is my past self, who decided we must trust reality or live as if it's real, real?

If a fact is not real, isn't there a point at which we must pretend it is and thus live a coherent life?
