Oblivion freezes after loading a save game

Hello,

When I load a save game, I can move for 3 seconds, then the game freezes for 5 seconds and resumes normally afterwards, with a "av uncapper initialized" message.

I do not think it is related to the av uncapper, it has always worked well in previous builds.

I use BOSS extensively and cleans everything BOSS recommends with TES4Edits.

Here is my load order:

Do you know what might be causing this problem?

Update: I have noticed something else: before the freeze, the dungeons are brighter and have less contrast. After the freeze, some graphic modification is applied: dungeons are darker, light is different. Could it come from Ambient Dungeons?

I use OBGE v3.

Update 2: I removed ambient dungeons and I still get this freeze, maybe it is OBGE... here is my .ini:

Many thanks,

It is most likely that OBGE is the cause of the freezing when you load your saves. The freezing is a result of OBGE loading its shaders into memory, and the number of shaders it has to load affects for how long the freezing lasts. Seeing that you have the OBGE support plugin active in your mod load order, this causes OBGE to load all of its shaders into memory, including ones not currently switched on, to allow you to adjust in-game which ones you're using. Disabling this plugin will remove the freezing, but at the same time will disable OBGE's effects.

If you have a specific set of OBGE shaders you want to use and don't mind not being able to turn them on or off in-game, you can use the 'Shaderlist.txt' method of activating the shaders instead of the OBGE plugin. There will still be some freezing when you load your saves, but as it will only load the shaders you want to use, it should be greatly reduced.
