British89
EDIT, PC as in computer or PC as in playing character? If its the second option then i feel stupid >,>Errr... second one, yes. I have then another suggestion for a mod...: FASTER horses, dammit!! :wallbash: Haha, Infinite sprint on horses would be much better, it lasts 5 seconds for a sprint what is actually "I'm guessing" 50% faster than the PC. The 10% i was referring to was a horse trotting. Edited November 11, 2011 by British89

Well.... I dont want to spoil anything for you by going into detail, But you CAN actually get other mounts other than horses! So my guess is YES there "might" be faster mounts, dont know about horses though lol, an upgraded horse would have armour on, so maybe causing it to go even slower? xD
jburrowes
This, like other things I won't mention in this thread, should by now be standard in any game that provides horse riding. Being able to pack things in bags on the horse would be nice too. If it's true that the horse gallops at a mere 10% faster than a person runs then that needs fixing too. (I tested this in Oblivion - using the old nag I was given - and she was about 20% faster.) Fifty percent faster is probably pretty close. Horse sprint has to be what? Three times faster than the fastest human? Though maybe at that pace the graphics wouldn't be able to load fast enough?
meisterdawid
+1 for first-person horse riding I saved the gold for a horse, bought one . . . and abandoned it ~30s later. :-(
FederalNickel
words cannot describe how awesome mounted combat would be. i mean even 2 Worlds and Zelda 64 had mounted combat.
aerionop
Giving the horse unlimited sprint is easy with the console, as it has the same kind of variables as a player. So click horse and "setav stamina 9001" would, effectively, make it sprint forever (until you get bored really). The problem does however stem from the fact that it's slow... very slow... the werewolf mode is much faster at sprinting than anything else (bar dragons in flight). In all fairness though, I like the horses for the simple fact that they're a strange mix between a mountain goat and a Panzer IV tank...Though I do wish they'd just run away from dragons and other big bad things instead of storming in hooves blazing... Number28
Just being able to see the horse on the map/compass would be a great help, but +1 to horseback projectiles, and storage in saddlebags. Changing horse behaviour would be nice too. Right now it goes a little like this; Spot trouble aheadClumsily dismount horseBegin fighting having already taken a couple arrows in the nutsHorse suddenly sprints straight into the middle of the ruckus, totally getting in the way of my arrowsHorse either gets murdered (1000 septims down the toilet), or severely wounded, causing it to run half a mile in a random direction leaving me with the job of searching a square mile of countryside for it.It's not ideal... FonicStereo
Being able to chase after Dragons on horseback whilst flinging spells/arrows at it would be pretty epic. Horses aren't particularly fast, but the temporary sprint gives you just enough of a boost to outrun things like bears and wolves.
